The following mining operations are not shown on the map: the mining operations at Minden, located on the C&O Arbuckle Creek Branch; the mining operations on the C&O Keeneys Creek Branch; the mining operations on the Laurel Creek Branch; the mining operations on the Manns Creek Railroad, at Sewell; the majority of mining operations on the C&O Piney Creek Branch; and the mining operations located in the New River Gorge, along the C&O mainline and the C&O South Side Branch.
